This training program provides an essential foundational introduction to the FIDIC suite of contracts, offering participants a clear understanding of their structure, application methods, and underlying principles. It is ideal for professionals who are new to FIDIC contracts, as well as experienced practitioners seeking to refresh and strengthen their knowledge before progressing to more specialized courses. Participants will gain a solid understanding of FIDIC’s approach to risk allocation, the roles and responsibilities of contracting parties (the Contractor, the Employer, and the Engineer/Contract Administrator), and the key contractual mechanisms governing FIDIC contracts, with a focus on the Red and Yellow Books. The course also introduces fundamental contract management practices and enables participants to advance to specialized and advanced FIDIC programs in contract administration and implementation.
